
Ever since its introduction in the world of fabrics, the Embroidery has always shown appealing details and it was embellished with lovely appliques. When it comes to cleaning and caring for this fabric, it’s very important that the appropriate methods to be followed, thus maintaining all its aesthetic qualities of the Embroidery.
Cleaning and Care Methods for Embroidery:
1. Dry cleaning is allowed only in specialized establishments;
2. Hand washing is the most recommended and is done by adding cold water together with a soft detergent in a clean recipient. The garment is totally immersed in this mix and it’s spin so that the soapy water can get in thorough. It should be left in the water for 10 minutes;
3. Cleaning in the washing machine is done only with cold water and a soft spin program, especially if there are certain decorations, these won’t get damaged;

4. Drying is done by rolling the garment in a towel to absorb the excess water, after which is laid on a dry towel. It shouldn’t be put on a hanger or wire and of course it should be far away from the direct sunlight;
5. If chlorine is necessary only small quantities should be used;
6. Ironing is not recommended, being done only in necessary situations and a towel should be place between the iron and the garment. The temperature mustn’t be high and during the ironing should be done on the garment turned inside out not to damage any decorations;
7. Bleaching is not allowed;
